Goings on about town

It's been a rainy few weeks, in fact 13 of the 18 days this month have seen rain with over 7.5" of rain in June! That's 5 inches above average. Wow and yuck! But when the sun does peek out, the world around us is very green up at the top of Manhattan! The parks are bursting with leaves and grass and hopefully this rain will go away soon enough for us to enjoy a nice, plush summer.

Bummed that I missed this the last 2 weekends, there's still one more chance to enjoy the Scandinavian Music Festival in Fort Tryon Park. This Sunday, June 21st at 2pm on the Billings Lawn. Enter the park at Margaret Corbin Circle and head into the park near the Heather Garden and walk down the stairs or ramp towards the river. Its a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon, this weekend take Dad!
